"Mr. Staengl's
input before and during the Little Green project enabled
us to identify solutions that were straightforward,
efficient and very cost effective. This design-build
project started with a very tight schedule and budget.
With Mr. Staengl's advice we were able to keep the project
moving along and on budget. He was extremely knowledgeable
and helpful."

The Charlottesville Waldorf
School has hired Artisan Construction to build a new
classroom building dubbed "Little Green".
In concert with Waldorf educational philosophy, the
building was designed to celebrate the natural environment.
The project was constructed on a strict timeline and
budget. The building is targeting LEED silver under
USGBC's LEED ratings system.
Staengl Engineering provided Commissioning and Energy
modeling for the project. The building will use ~30%
less energy then a code baseline building.
