Byron has more than a decade of professional engineering experience in systems, mechatronics, radiofrequency, and power. He has had a diverse career working on military defense systems, physical building infrastructure, and power distribution. Byron has designed various electrical systems and managed projects for residential, commercial, and government buildings.

Byron is an avid world traveler, and spent time in Asia teaching STEM. He is also an advocate for personal fitness, keeping himself active running, swimming, hiking and weightlifting.
