David has been designing electrical systems for energy-efficient commercial and multi-family residential projects for almost 20 years. His experience covers multiple aspects of electrical engineering, including: power supply, generation and distribution; solar PV system design and integrations; battery backup systems; microgrids; communications systems; network systems; site security; and controls systems. David is dedicated to sustainable, resilient design and he strives to incorporate various methods of backup power and energy storage into each of his projects. He seeks to provide resiliency by incorporating renewable energy sources in the backup power system whenever possible.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time renovating his house and building new things around his micro-farm – seeking to discover what plants will grow in his garden with walnuts nearby. He is also actively involved with his church, spending time in Bible Study and camping with the men’s group.
