Passive House on the Horizon

Faircliff Plaza, a 122-unit affordable housing apartment building in downtown Washington, DC, recently celebrated its topping out ceremony, signaling the progress of an upcoming Passive House affordable housing project. Beyond its commitment to Passive House certification, the project boasts an array of eco-friendly features including green roofs, solar photovoltaic arrays, and high-performance HVAC and plumbing systems. The project is a collaboration between Jonathan Rose Companies and Summerset Development Company. The architect is Eric Colbert and Associates.
